The owners of Funky Tonky have a blog, apparently. And they wrote about us, because we gave them a shot glass (which ashiri_chan kindly brought from Chicago when she visited) on White Day. I didn't realize the significance of it at the time, but it's not that big a deal because they gave us a present on Valentine's Day.

Roughly (based on Babelfishing, kanji roll-over, and looking things up in a paper dictionary), it means, "Even when it's windy or rainy or snowing, the person from Chicago always wears short sleeves. He says he isn't cold because Chicago is colder than here, but we think he's bluffing because he caught a cold anyway." Burn. :-p Though they go on to mention that, "Because he's a good person, we'll overlook that" (though in much more deferential language, obviously).

Babelfish totally butchered the last part, but it seems to be hoping that Chicago and Chiyoda can become closer together. This may be symbolic for "maybe we can get to know them better," but my Japanese isn't that good.

How kind of them. ^_^
