Foster won in the 14th District
Good to send a scientist to DC instead of a douchebag milkman.

Edit: Now with link.

We could use more scientists here.

We're doing our part, at least. ^_^

He'll still have to watch out come time for the actual General Election, not just the Replacement Election. But don't you worry... we here in DC got his back. :-)

He'll have the advantage of incumbency then, fortunately. Hopefully he does well enough in the 8 months he has to make Oberweis lose election a fifth time.

That's if the IL GOP let's him run again. They've been saying that it was his abrasive personality that lost this election, so I kind of doubt they'll just up and LET him try again next time around.

well while that is something to consider, the family is insanely rich and he could run independent if he wanted to

actually, its the OTHER oberwies brother who runs the Dairy. my mom say's he's rather nice.
dorchadas: Do Not Wantdorchadas on March 10th, 2008 05:06 pm (UTC)
No he doesn't.

Well, you're right. The other brother may run it, but Jim Oberweis owns it and is the current Chairman of the Board.

It's too bad, really. They do have good milk, but I refuse to pay anything to support him, especially after he's already been fined for using his dairy ads to promote his campaign in 2004.

they're one of my mom's biggest clients so i feel the need to support them because it gives my mom a pay check.

I don't blame you for buying their milk/ice cream. The honeymoon suite had cookies and Oberweis milk and it was damn good. If the company were ever sold, I'd probably sign up for delivery.

well i doubt that they'll ever sell off the family business. but we can always hope the next generation is full of fewer docuhes
