Yes indeed. ^.^

Which is why, incidentally, I disagree with the original line developer's (or, er, whatever Grabowski's title was) belief that Creation is doomed no matter what...

Hmm? I thought the line was that "stock" Creation (i.e., the one with no PCs) was doomed. And that's where the PCs come in.

That does seem to be the attitude these days, and maybe that was the official word even from the beginning. But G's personal preference was for more "tragic" in his tragic heroism.

I'll see if I can track down the quote I'm thinking of. (It's not inconceivable that I'm attributing it to the wrong person, for one.)

Ah, indeed. I was thinking of this exchange, at the end:

The canonical conclusion to the Age of Sorrows is that the different factions all point fingers and jockey for position until the sky caves in. ... Obviously, you will probably want to change that for your game, unless you like epic tragedy as much as I do, but what direction you pick is all about person taste, not about discerning the secret truths of the setting.

So, I may have overstated it some, as there's different ways to interpret "canonical conclusion" and "you will probably want to change that for your game," but at least I had the guy's name right, heh.
